Hi my name is Joe V. and my wife Tammi and I are moving into a new home and my office furniture, desk, credenza, 2 office files that is very beautiful wood furniture, just was not going to match. We hired FinishSmith to do the refinishing and I must say they have done a absolutely wonderful job with our furniture. It looks beautiful! It was extremely heavy and had to be moved from an upstairs, down over a landing. Scot and his guys were very professional moving it out and then moving it back in into our new home. They refinished incredible pieces of furniture that meant a lot to the family as they have been in the family for many years and they did it to perfection. And when i say perfection, I mean every detail. The details we want everybody to listen to us when we speak them, they accomplished. the client was ecstatic and I as the designer continue to give them repeat business. It was in very bad shape. They did a fabulous job. The door is just lovely and looks like it did 20 years ago when it was brand new. Hey Scot, just catching up to share that after you guys left the house yesterday, the cabinets are better than new. The attention to detail was very, very good and we can't find a flicker or flaw on anything you guys did.. Probably one of the best lacquering jobs I have ever seen. We thought about buying new cabinets and for what we wanted compared to what you guys did is far better than what you could buy as we have high end cabinets that we did not want to replace or remove and this service was certainly a great alternative as we can still enjoy our beautiful cabinets for a much longer period of time. Hi Scot, this is Carol calling and just want to thank you so much for the wonderful job you did on the inlay chess board table top and stand along with the cedar chest. The inlay on the chess table top had been lifting and separating for several years and the cedar chest had been painted green for all of those years. The restoration and repairs along with the natural look you gave back to the chess board top table with all of the repairs you made to the edges, all filled and like original. After you stripped all of that green paint off of the cedar chest and bringing it back to it's original walnut.... WOW! I am blown away as they look better than any time I can remember them growing up. Thank you so much!

We recently decided to remodel our kitchen and lighten up our dark wood stained kitchen cabinets. The existing cabinetry was in excellent shape and terrific quality with a lot of detail and crown molding. The thought of tearing it out was more than we wanted to take on. Good day, we started our process searching for the right contractor with Home Advisor to refinish and renovate our kitchen. After all of the estimates and then getting a call from Scot at Finishsmith, then meeting with Scot, we knew from that moment, we were gonna go with his company. Scot was very detailed and very professional. from start to finish. He explained how the entire job would get done. Everything he promised, FinishSmith delivered. They started by picking up the doors and drawers to our cabinets while getting measurements for everything else. They came back and completely refinished our kitchen cabinets, stair railings, banister post and hand rail all of the wood trim around all of our doors and windows, and also fabricated new granite counter tops, with new lights, sink and stove top. Hi, just a quick note, after getting my delivery today, the refinish work on my dinette set is superb. it's beautiful! The dinette chairs were also upholstered and switched over from rushing to upholstery and it adds so much to the overall look and comfort.The color of every thing is exactly what I wanted as the color of upholstery coordinates so well with the soft washed look.
